Incorporated in October 2002, AIG Business Processing Services, Inc. (the former name of Integra) was a joint venture of American General and PhilamLife to provide offshore backroom processing including contact center services to American International Group Inc. and its various subsidiaries and affiliates worldwide.
In January 2003, the Company launched full operations composed of two pilot teams with 40 employees.
From 2004-2006 - marked continuous growth as more processes were migrated and process complexity increased across different businesses ranging from back-office processing to call center operations.
In 2007, the Company expanded its operations to include General Insurance, thus a second operations site also in Alabang emerged gradually increasing its workforce to over 1200.
In 2009, the Company's General Insurance operations division was ceded to unite with Chartis Technology and Operations Management Corporation.
In 2010, the Company was renamed Integra Business Processing Solutions Inc. and its business focus opened up to a broader spectrum of services which includes outsourcing services for global companies outside of the captive, offshore business model.
